1. Freedom over Texas at Eleanor Tinsley Park

Celebrate over three decades of July 4th music, fireworks and fanfare on Buffalo Bayou, at Eleanor Tinsley Park. This breathtaking festival is the city’s signature tribute to patriotism. With amazing performances by headliner Jake Owen and special guest Kellie Pickler, this is the perfect family friendly way to celebrate the holiday.




2. 180th City of Galveston Celebration Independence Day Parade and Fireworks

July 4th, 2019, 7:00pm

What’s a better way to celebrate Independence Day than giving tribute to the men and women who made it possible. This historical parade will feature floats, decorated military vehicles and performances. The parade kicks off at 7pm traveling down Seawall Blvd starting at 59th street and ending at 25th street. After the parade, the island hosts a spectacular 20 minute firework show over the Gulf of Mexico.

3. Sad Summer Festival

9. NASA at Discovery Green Moon Landing Celebration

10. Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park

This three-day outdoor festival is a fun and unique way to see even more of what Houston has to offer. Come view works by more than 300 artists and craftsmen from around the country and 19 different disciplines at this open air salute to creativity, with food, live music and fun. You will have the opportunity to purchase world class art and raise funds for local non-profit partners. This is also a chance for the family to get a little creative themselves at the Children’s Creative Zone.
